I joined the Take A Stitch Tuesday project in 2012 to teach myself embroidery and learn from others; these are my stitches.
Visit this website if you would like to join in with the most recent version, or just have a look at all the beautiful stitching.
TAST 2012 Week 13: Catch-up Week
I decided this was a good opportunity for me to finish my sampler of the first 12 stitches, since I was almost running out of cloth anyway. I finished the buttonhole edging and stitched the lettering. Since I limited myself so far each week by using only one colour for one stitch, I went a little overboard this time and used as many stitches and colours as possible 🙂 I like the way it feels a little bit crazy!
Now to figure out what to do with my sampler. It’s a little too big to make into a stitchbook of some kind, and I don’t really intend on displaying it yet. Maybe someday when I have an actual craft room…

Thanks! En bedankt 🙂
I used to do cross stitch samplers all the time. Mine look a bit old fashioned now but yours is fresh and modern looking. Thanks for sharing it on this week's BeColorful party,

Those stitches are great, but oh the colors! It's a feast to look at! Lovely job on that!

Thank for the nice comments!
If you want to join TAST it's still possible, you can try catching up or just start doing the stitches from the start: there's no time limit. And it will still run for the rest of the year.
Your stitch sampler is lovely as are the colors! I'd definitely want to display it somewhere. Good luck deciding what to do with it.
That's a lot of stitches to practice 😉
WOW!!! You've done an awesome job with all the different types of stitches!!!
Thanks! Still haven't decided though…
Gosh, it's been so long since I did a sampler. This makes me really miss stitching! Thanks for posting this. It's so cute and brings back fond memories. Stop in and see me at Quirky Vistas. I found your post at Mop it up Mondays.
