Last summer I taught my first workshop at a babyshower. It was a lot of fun to do, and the ladies liked the results as well, so I would love to do more!
It was a surprise for the mother-to-be, so together with the grandmother-to-be I came up with this idea. Together we decided on a woodland / fairy tale themed mobile made of felt figures. The gnome and the owl were existing patterns of mine, and especially for this workshop I designed the patterns for the bear and both toadstools.
The results from the babyshower, and as it it got to be displayed in the nursery:
The fun thing about this type of workshop / babyshower is that there are nearly endless possibilities for personilisation. I can design many other figures or creatures, but you could also choose for a single pattern (for instance: imagine loads of different little gnomes :). Or everything in a certain colour scheme… Anything is possible!
If you would like me to inform you about the possiblities: contact me here.

Really cute! Love anything made with felt. So easy to work with.
Thanks!
Crafts are such a fun thing to do at a baby shower, and when you have made a gift at the end, what a blessing! Thank you so much for sharing with the Hearth and Soul Link Party. I’m featuring this post at the party this week. Hope to ‘see’ you there! Have a great week ahead!
Thank you April, for both the kind words and the feature.
